This novel is weird but good mixture of Urban + Horror. Neither side gets too stretched and author keeps good suspense. It's a refreshing read cause I have never read a horror novel before. MC isn't too much of an idiot and atleast uses his brain to make decisions. Only thing is author don't know shit about Film industry but is hell bent on writing about it. He wrote that screenwriters in Hollywood have same authority as directors. If that wasn't enough, he wrote that MC spent 200+ million USD to direct a Horror movie. A Horror Movie!! Either this or translation somehow make 100 million to 1 billion and 150 million to 1.5 billion. If it's the later, I can understand otherwise it's complete bullshit.
I found that in some Asian countries,100 million is 1 billion and similarly 100 thousand will have other terms corresponding to the country used... For ex. In India, there is no 100 thousand but instead it it called 1 lakh... Similarly in many Chinese no els , I found them using 1 billion for 100 million

Bad thing about this novel? Wel there are many many bad things, but the only good thing, well not actually good but the first night mc is in this world, mc jerks off to sleep at night, unlike othere chinese male protagonist who idk why its never mentioned, like they are either virgin or didn't have s*x for few months and they don't jerk off, well that's okay but mc who know of por9 and watch por9 but don't just jerk off are the real weird ones.
