I'm not cynical, but the MC's kindness is so archetypal hero, that it cringe my soul lol. Good thing about it is that he is not yet a fcking beta ass mf like the usual japanese prot though, but it's getting there. Too much with the power of friendship kind of shit where you will cringe so hard that you might get aneurism.
im thinking that he can kill himself for his so called friends and I don't like this mentality. Maybe it works in some hero saving the princess kind of novel but this is one piece dude. The author is trying hard to show us that the mc is kind and gentle Everytime. Bro we get it
Mf is soo kind that he didn't use others for things he really needs cause he didn't want to hurt them And don't tell me about him killing his enemies. He mostly kills pirate's cause they hurt others and fights with the navi cause they started it. Basically the author is trying to make him cold at the same time gentle And there's sunny and sol. The mf first just lived with them and then booom they act like family and shit and then he acts with sunny like they're lover's Wthhhhhh
