The story was okay. Ling Xiao and Mo Qi comes from 21 century and Ling Xiao likes Mo Qi. He did everything he could for her and then she killed him with poisoned wine. Ling Xiao's soul returns to his younger self and then he takes his revenge. The ML that is the emperor finds Ling Xiao in in some situations. The emperor begans to like MC that is Ling Xiao. The MC ran away from ML but gets together with ML and in between these he brings a war and then finally has his revenge. In the last the the emperor dismiss his harem and Ling Xiao helps him with the future knowledge he has. The end was abrupt and funny. The end could have gone better. The emperor gifts his uncle a marriage partner so that they can reproduce the next heir and so that his uncle doesn't always find Ling Xiao and him to marry another concubine to produce heir. There are some long time skip and the author didn't write what and how Ling Xiao do to prosper the country. Not even a clue. The story has humorous undertones. Oh and MC has his little brother and he is not an eunuch. Good work author and translator. Looking forward to more works.
