  1. currently at ch903 (on uukanshu). this one is simply among the tops in chinese cultivation novel. solid story, good world building, some characters development, good concepts of cultivation, smart mc, smart enemies. there are some arrogant young masters but surprisingly very very rare, they even have some redeeming qualities. not all gods/budhas are evil, some are opportunistic, some are mutualistic, some are really good and benevolent. not everybody is enemy, not every leader/bigshot/strong cultivator is enemy. some enemies even become allies/subjects (for various reasons). many characters and things from chinese mythology are adapted to this story very smoothly, you still feel the familiarity in their story (to the original mythology), for example : neza. anyway its RECOMMENDED.

  2. yes it's decently written harem, tho the story isn't focus on romance but there's a little romantic plots that aren't feel forced at all. mc isn't harem seeking protag and isn't avoiding it either. none of the harem is love at first sight or love bc "hero saving beauty" trope, they started as normal (friends, enemies, colleagues, senior-junior, etc) but as the story progress so are their feelings. while you can guess some of the girls will be part of the harem from their very first appearance, there're some that you would never guess (from their first appearance), especially my favorite girl (the second waifu-tobe mc met) who has the best romantic subplot (as of now) in the story. the plot could be far better but too bad maybe the author isn't that good with romance. still okay tho.
