Novel Summary

The original work of the hit drama “The Wind Rises in Xizhou”!

This is the most prosperous era: bright clothes, angry horses, orchids like flowers;

This is the cruelest era: flesh and blood kill each other, and human lives are like mustard;

Reborn in this era, Kudi Liuli’s goal is: to live to old age and death without cavities… I waved my pen among the splendid bushes in the West Market, gathered at the Qushui Flower Fighting Party, slipped into Pingkang Square to listen to a tune, and sneaked into Ci’en Temple to watch a performance. She wants to be a passerby who can look at the mortal world in Chang’an and smile at the bright moon of the Tang Dynasty.

However, in the spring of the fourth year of Yonghui, when the eternal drama of Wu Zhou’s seizure of the Tang Dynasty finally quietly began, she discovered with tears in her eyes that she was not a spectator, but an actor.

  1. It is a beautiful piece of work. The truly shows her love for the Tang era. There's romance, no dramas in their relationship. The author I feel has fleshed out the historical events. All in all, an interesting read. It has made me want to look up many of the characters which were actually based on historical figures. Love it. Hopefully, I can also read the next volume when they return to Chang'an.
