The plot is good. But the MC female is so bad in my eyes. The book description says she’s an assassin. A proficient assassin needs to be highly perceptive of their surroundings at all times habitually. This MC acts more like a Mary Sue character. She is too nosey, not ruthless enough and rescues a fair maiden and offers work because she thinks the maiden is too pitiful. Her lack of awareness or sixth sense for danger automatically disqualify her for the profession claim. I like the male lead very much and wish he could find a more sensible FL. While reading, I pity him very much while he rescues the FL from her self pitted dangers. For example, she take's dangerous action such as walking through a pollen field zone (she has severe pollen allergy) theorizing that ML has blood that can detoxify her poison or allergy. I hate that she takes it for granted that the ML will save her. She hasn’t known the ML for long yet through the part I’m reading and she’s already fantasizing about hugging golden thighs. Not self dependent at all, while she wanders around dreaming of building a business empire to get rich.
