Novel Summary

Shen Mingbei had always followed Qu Lang without any complaints or regrets.

Everyone believed that he deeply loved Qu Lang, including Qu Lang himself.

Then, Qu Lang’s White Moonlight suddenly returned.

Everyone was watching this good show – waiting for Shen Mingbei and Qu Lang’s quarrel – including Qu Lang.

Shen Mingbei knew he was just a cannon fodder. He also knew that if he wanted to leave, he had to patiently wait for the plot to finish. He wasn’t in a hurry.

The White Moonlight finally returned; whilst Qu Lang and his White Moonlight’s reunion was trending, Shen Mingbei sighed in relief.

Shen Mingbei: Let’s divorce. I’ve already drawn up an agreement.

Shen Mingbei: If you don’t have time, you can ask your assistant for help. Just sign it.

Qu Lang: ???

  1. I don't think the ending could be considered a H.E. Why? Because the MC is too broken to love the ML again. I can't feel the chemistry. It feels like the author forced them to be together just to make the readers happy. Read at your own risk coz the plot is terrible.

  2. I absolutely love how you put this! This is definitely a good way to explain how the feelings of a couple didn't resonate with an audience as the author probably intended them to.

  3. I spend my time reading this than do my homework which I regret I did. This pissed me off that I want to turn back time and never tap this. The story is full of misunderstandings. It seriously stemmed from miscommunication. The MC thought that the ML didn't love him. The ML thought that the MC really loved him and seemed to see the MC under his very own "tinted glasses". The ML didn't really love his "white moonlight" and the ML admitted that he lacks emotions whenever loving or liking someone is involved. After their divorce, the ML really regretted letting the MC go. He did question himself on why everyone thinks that he loves his "white moonlight" when he really doesn't. It's like "something" is pushing him to like the "white moonlight" and he didn't want that. The ML wants the MC but as the story goes by, he realizes how much as*hole he really was to the MC. He didn't really know the MC's preferences, his fears, his past... There is a chap which the ML got sick. To the point where he refuses to take his medicine so that he can still meet the MC in his dreams because that's the only way where he can have contact with the MC. He became depressed and he always scolds himself for his pasts actions and sees himself as unworthy of being with the MC but he still really wants the MC back. Things did get resolved. The antagonists got what they deserved but the romance between the ML and MC wasn't really there. The MC was too broken - he didn't really want to believe in love anymore so no matter how the ML pursued him once again, he's just rejected. Bahhh

  4. Author what the fuck?!?? I thought this would be an interesting story...WHY!!! IT'S REALLY TO LATE TO REGRET AND THERE'S ALSO NO MEDICINE FOR IT!!!

  5. Lol I was reading some of the reviews and I feel like @Kagasaki6 needs to read past ch 35 because the writing goes down hill before coming back up some... well I guess the writing was never abominable or too bad but it definitely got to a point where maybe it was the plot but it felt like pulling teeth to read them before the writing and emotional fluctuations stabilized later mmm for better or worse it was like okay! everythings set to the middle with a small allowance for ups and downs in everything, so anything punching that felt more intense though nothing like the first third of the book

  6. I’m still bitter ! @YanHei the threat of a heartbreaking ending is too much ! Even saying a realistic ending conjures up to many sad and heartbreaking images that I’m actually falling back into the original Angina the first 20ch’s gave me ! 😤😖😭

  7. They’re the main pair for a reason just keep telling yourself that and you’ll get through the book to see the light at the end of the tunnel ! Don’t let other comments shake your faith ! Just keep shipping Shen Mingbei and Qu Lang and it’ll all work out and be fine ! 😔👌

  8. I keep telling myself that but in the end ML just disappointed me even more, not just ML actually, many characters made me disappointed and mad but i didn't even remember their name again. It's just too much for my heart and i decided to just forget this entire novel since their relationship is almost toxic for themselves and i've had enough tears. Sorry.

  9. And actually, that's how the ending works in my eyes. I can't even described it as happy ending for me because yeah, many chapters already break my heart. So if you think that the ending is happy, it's fine for me, but i still thought that it was more like open ending or something like, not happy but not sad and kinda confusing-ending.
