why did the chapter jumped from 389 to chapter 392?
Read up to CH 233. Picking up from after my review the author started to show more POV's of other characters which typically is not a bad thing. Here is the catch the number of characters and subordinates and remembering their names/traits is a struggle, especially when players come in. Basically filler chapters not even much world building is involved. Another thing is if these characters are going to be mentioned later on, and how far later. The female characters interactions ruined my mood as well, most webnovels have terribly written females. It was mainly the lolis as there are roughly 4 main ones in the story and 2 of them are just obnoxious, although the main girl Rose is just as bad. There was a whole part after Rose met Du that left me confused, I do not know if it was intentional or MTL or some obscure saying/proverb. Debating on adding Harem tag as MC has multiple partners but he uses them for benefits. Players being added also did nothing for the novel, the players are abused so much early on I cannot even imagine when NPC's get buffed. Have to agree with others this is a washed down Legendary Mechanic as it adds little but takes away so much more.
Ch 456. Man coming back to this novel to catch up a little had me lost on who is who for a good while. It did not help that there are random Japanese sounding names, it did not help that even google thought it was in Japanese, I was reading raw on 69shu. Also really do not read if you are not used to a more broken grammar, or can fill in gaps. Anyways moving onto the actual novel, nothing much has happened seriously. MC did gain some benefits and is preparing for the bigger picture but the story arc was just so long. The change from dealing with the knights recently to some random players was abrupt and really weird. I know she was your acquaintance in your past life, but what about this life is she going to be a subordinate, ally, or inside man. Another strange thing was did MC expose himself as a reincarnated to the AI idol or translation issue. Really wanting to see if the author is going to write out all 9 civilizations levels or timeskip their development. I mean he can essentially skip the first 3, the pre-ascension ones and then develop from there. Not even including that he wants a subordinate to make their own civilization, so one in each path potentially.
