  1. Ch11 made me quite the novel half way though the chapter when the mc decides to forgive 3 mil people even tho I think it said he was in an orphanage in his last life (don’t quote me on that) and I heard it’s pretty bad if you go to a bad one. Basically I don’t like how he’s so Naïve and forgiving

  2. 1st Chapter, MC said ""Junior Brother Qingquan, we cultivators who do not do anything are doing something, and doing something means doing nothing. The process of carrying water to mountains and irrigating dry wells seems to be inactive, but in fact there is something, and it seems like something has something to do. , in fact do nothing.” Do you understand?" (copy exact wording from the 1st chapter) My answer would be, nope, I don't get it. What are you trying to say?

  3. It's the concept of Wu Wei from the Book Dao De Jing by Lao Tzu. It means inaction or doing nothing wish produce something. It's very confusing, but very profound. Dao De Jing is literally one of the smallest books, but the hardest to comprehend.

  4. I kinda guess that part, doing nothing still have a result. But the concept is, that doing something will get one result while doing nothing will get a different result. The result will not be the same, thus, we can't take doing something and doing nothing in the same context. This novel seems to imply doing something and doing nothing are the same, which is not in my opinion. Doing something and doing nothing had a different outcome, thus it can't be the same. For example, one guy take water from the well, and the other just sit and watch, resulting from the action of two guy already different in many ways. If I explain the possible outcome of each guy it will take too much space, I hope you got my picture here. That is why I don't understand this statement. To me the statement is wrong. Perhaps Confucianist try to complicate things, try to make it more sophisticated, and try to impress people by showing their deep learning to the extent that they are saying something that won't make sense at all. This is what I think. Oh by the way, I read to perhaps chapter 3, and I see MC teaching something and end with "Do you understand?" again. This is when I give up on this novel. Can't continue. I already imagine myself confused and frustrated as hell if I go further. Compound the fact this is a machine-translated novel that contains many flaws in translation, makes it even harder to understand some weird statements.

  5. Literally just like philosophy. If you want it to matter, you’ll find it profound. If you would rather do something realistic like put food on the table, it will seem ridiculous and a waste of time. At least ur aware just how a** machine translation is…sometimes it struggles with even BASIC translations. That being said this novel is mid at best bc character reactions and actions are very inconsistent (used more as plot pushers).

  6. Immortal means Undying or everliving. Then why the F*** immortal die like normal people.... Died of old age, died of poison, died by injury. Chinese people need to upgrade their Vocabulary.

  7. There are different types of immortality, it's not always undying and everlasting, sometimes it is only everlasting while to other it could be an undying physique, as for the dying of old age part, mostly it is because they want to die of old age.

  8. Immortal has two meanings. The first meaning is to transcending mortality and becoming a higher being. The second meaning is to be undying and eternal.

  9. That's why it's called Immortal cultivation. To reach Immortality you need to cultivate yourself slowly, like cultivating a tree for many years before finally grow fruits and reap it....... But I agree somewhat with your opinion with regard to lifespan. It's very rare to find cultivation novels where they have truly eternal lifespan. Even MC only have eternal lifespan by the end of novel. After cultivate slowly from qi refiner, foundation, golden core, nascent soul, etc.....finally went through lightning tribulation in Immortal tribulation realm, after that you reach the so called true immortal/celestial immortal or whatever the name, but it bear the name of immortal, so logically you should have eternal lifespan right? But in most chinese novels even if you reach the so called true immortal in the end it only give you longer lifespan, once your lifespan end then you die. This is so frighing nonsense! If you still being shackled by lifespan then don't call yourself or your realm as immortal, idiot! Just use different realm name, such as saint realm or legendary realm or whatever. Immortal realm should only be used if the cultivators truly reach eternal lifespan. What's more nonsense is the realm such as human immortal, etc... finally reach Golden immortal, Immortal king, emperor, God, godking, whatever awesome sounding name, but they only have more powerful strength but still risk of dying of old age. What a scam.

  10. immortality refers to the lifespan of a being specifically a being who has the inability to die of natural causes and is un-aging, your idea of immortality however is immortal and undying which are 2 separate aspects, undying somewhat transcend immortality to be undying isn't even in the same level of life as immortality. if an immortal were to be stabbed or beheaded they would die for these are not natural causes and are caused by external forces this makes sense...

  11. Bro it’s machine translated…what do you expect? Also don’t you know some phrases and concepts won’t translate completely from one language to the next? Your ignorance is showing.

  12. F*** this shit, I’m not reading this anymore. If anyone wants to kill their brain cell, by all means, go ahead and read this.

  13. The goddamn racism about how much Chinese Huang or whatnot have so much f***ing responsibility and they will help people blah blah blah 😒 is so damn annoying. Sometimes, I just wanna see what their brains 🧠 are made out of. Poison or racism?

  14. Lol Chinese pople blah blah, and by Chinese people, author probably means only the mc, because other chinese in the same novel will be seen doing evil you can't imagine.
