A highly entertaining novel; the author's experience in writing basketball fanfiction is evident. I also appreciated that the author genuinely portrayed the main character as a Chinese individual raised in the USA, without the need to depict China as a global basketball powerhouse or Chinese players in the NBA becoming superstars, like Yi Jianlan and others in other novels, when they don't have the skill for that level. The romance was a bit underdeveloped (the female lead is Valentina Vignali, a beautiful woman, I must say). Still, one of the best novels I've read.
