Decent read. Good portrayal of the mindset a low tier being would have knowing about higher being protecting them (everyone focusing on their interests while ignorant of the true level of threat present) (real life example to prove my point: your chance of dieing to a wild hog attack is never zero but you don't worry about it because those with the Will, Skill, and Means prevent it by controlling the population count of wild hogs)

Whole novel logic is shit. City is in danger of invasion they still care about evidence to arest
From chapter 100, the mc trap becomes useless for about 40 chapters, the plot becomes tedious and boring. They try to add mystery and "Dark Things" to it but it's horrible.
Okay, I actually really liked this, though I got tired of reading it around chapter 150 or so. Here's something interesting: instead of the whole "spending forty chapters looking for a certain treasure to make a cultivation breakthrough" trope that's so prevalent in cultivation, our MC breezes through realms with little difficulty. He doesn't hide his true strength, so everyone just knows and accepts that he's a bizarre genius of monstrous proportions. Seriously, though, on average he breaks through to another level once every three or four chapters. Absolutely bonkers, but was a fun read.
