This story is very cheap and plastic. Although you can read it, the same dynamics and misunderstandings occur over and over again. At first, I didn't mind the MC, since she read as having apathetic depression... but later on, she keeps depending on her cat to understand the motives of people around her and I don't know which chapter it will be until there is progress with the ML. I like that they met early, but I don't like the complete lack of progress.
Read the first 10 chapters and I am wondering, is this one of those stories that use "lazy" as an euphemism for passive and dumb?
The female lead is pretty unlikeable in the early chapters; she is arrogant yet passive, skilled yet dumb. She has nothing to make her likeable, yet we are obviously being setup for future faceslapping. But faceslapping only works when you feel empathic or sympathetic towards the protagonist. Here you just feel disdain.
