When searching for novels to read, I came across this one(for the second time without realizing it). Then when I read the first few chapters, I recall some scenes and wonder why I abandoned this novel. Then I remember why. MC never stays true to his words. His friend tries to get him to go to the bar, MC doesn't feel like it and says no. His friend insists MC change his mind. Ok, maybe once in a long while changing his mind is not a big deal. But when someone repeatedly ridicules him about his medical skills, then later found out MC is a real deal. He ask for an apprenticeship from MC which MC again said no. MC even goes further to say, his words once said can't be changed. Not even 10 minutes, MC accept him as a deciple. Then later he got home, again a girl asks him out in which again MC say no. Not long after, MC agrees to go out with her. MC keeps on going back on his words times and times again. This is not a mindset of a superstrong cultivator. MC keeps on allowing people around him to influence his decisions. A superstrong mindset would not allow that, once he made a decision, he will not allow other people to influence his decision. Everyone in a long while and with special circumstances, it might be right if someone influences his decision, but not all the time as this novel is progressing. It's almost like everyone around MC could drag MC by the nose if they keep on persisting. What kind of strong man mentality is this? There are many issues on this novel, this one is just one of the issues.
