The damn name translations pissed me off the most. Why couldn't they just keep the original English names? The fuck is River Valley City? River Forest village? Are the Chinese so retarded that they couldn't read the latin alphabets without translation?

Can you not read? Of course I know this is a mtl site. What I'm saying is these dumbass authors should have used the orignal English names since the start and not translated them to the Chinese ones.
You do understand that when a game/movie/book gets translated to another language the nouns in it are also adapted to that language... the author writes a novel for those speaking his language(chinese) using the names from those translated works so they will understand them... then we get mtl that translates everything without any consideration...

Its not even about english, there are tons of words that didnt need to be mistranslated to chinese. Names of houses in Harry Potter, almost everything in LoT, names and places in Game of thrones. Hell just the correct name of the countries outside of china shouldnt be mistranslated, poor chinese fools.
But what about all the chinese that cannot read english. I heard that many back there are barely literate especially in villages.

I have rarely seen popular japanese fanfics, but the chinese ones have a really big audience in comparison and that audience doesn't watch Power Rangers, but it watches Ultraman, etc. So xou should change the side you search on, to have a higher chance of success.
