I finished reading this novel many years ago. This is a very good novel. FL strong step by step. And ML from start to finish was strong but always on FL's side, never do anything excessive and always look after FL. ML is strong from start to finish, not the type whose strength is weakened by something. Fl's character is also very good. If only there were more parts. I want it. You have to read to the end to find out how good it is.
I read up until chapter 381 and skipped to the last chapter. I knew I was reading a fantasy when the Male lead (the thousand year old lord of the demon world) is still celibate and in a chaste relationship with the female lead. I finished the story arc of the parents reunion. I could not stomach a new arc after the fl lead ascends in the pillar of light to the upper world. When I read the last chapter I realized I'd wasted to much time on a story that was not going to end well. Maybe the ending was lost in translation or the author just got tired of the story. The biggest problem I had was the fl’s inconsistent attitude to the mo. She loves the male lead but does not want him to take her to the demon world. She wants to get to the demon world and stand beside him based in her own accomplishments. But the next paragraph she relies so much on him to save her from multiple near death events; or to enter forbidden areas, use his power to avenge her injuries, and wrongs. I had hoped for something more satisfying. Instead I feel all doom gloom and exhausted from all the negativity and hatred. Sigh
Fl was greedy, arrogant fool without ability, ungrateful, too much bullshit before fighting. Accused as a thief and would be abolished by family, fl fought against all family member, almost die, ml came to help, fl divorced their family relationship. Then in forest fl knew that chenwen hated and jealous of her, but fl saved, trusted chenwen, untill chenwen pull her as human shield and fl died, but ml came and resurrected fl. After talking bullshit for a long time with chenwen, fl let ml revenge her. Everytime in danger, ml came to save. In the end, fl's family who killed her before she reborn and transmigrated, didn't go to jail, only live in proverty. Well, actually its very easy for revenge but fl has to let everyone alive, so it has to dragged everything for a long long time, sigh.
