Readable. Story dont flow well, writing style might turn people off. Guess author lost it at some point cus the plot is kinda everywhere.
This is an ok read, but it gets trapped in minutiae, the reader does not really need to know how every minute of the day is spent, or every meal the family has. There is a three year time jump around Chapter 200, which is only used to age up the children. Every single character is still in the exact same place after the time skip, that they were before the time skip. The Male Lead's family is uniformly awful, even the male lead. And so far i am not sure what the purpose of the FL transmigrating from modern times serves. She might as well just be someone who transmigrates from ancient times given how easily she settles into the sexist/rigid social hierarchy of the times.
I detest the male lead. He is perfectly fine with seeing his niece kidnapped and sold to be someones concubine on the eve of her marriage to someone she loved. Almost as detestable as his family. Apple does not fall far from the tress it seems

When ML's family is not good for him so they aren't rich he will work for his parent's old age and his children to live well, he can't meddling in other affair for not his children and his responsibilities if her parent beg he will do for the best. FL is not powerful and not relatives to other for her meddling in other affair because ML is related but not meddle in that case why should she go dance in it for not related person when the parent is fine with it for their daughter and they will rich in their thinking. That age is for parent word to listen.
Why not separate already to be openly cook? Start not to starve the children but she is still going along with that family. Still obediently do things. Why not started making trouble for the first in counter in the dining and separate immidiately the reason is being unfair/bias and that your husband is dead and they will bully your family more. Because this is ancient time, and now modern is also not good for women with divorce in Asia so ancient is. And ancient is not good for reputation in China when parents is alive and separate, husband is dead for widow with children to live because they can't rely on for when they are face with outside world from ancient time and she can't do farming. Agree, I look down on these type of protag, especially if you got cheats but still willing to be a punchbag. Look at "After The Divorce, I Became the Favorite of the Powerful Ministers" FL, how she handle her awful family.
