You sound like someone who cannot even lift a knife to hurt a mosquito. He came from the modern world where morals have been instilled for generations and where he developed normally. You don't just "become" murderous all of a sudden as there are a lot of intricate psychological developments that very much shape your perception. Just because you "transmigrate" to another world, it doesn't mean that your mentality changes then and there, unless the mc recovered the memory of some thug or an assassin, otherwise, it's just a development very much inclined towards his already existing set of morals.
