If you are looking for a novel that has heavy or even moderate Kingdom building; then find another novel. At its core it is an adventure and 'coming of age' story. Set in a world very similar to the age of sail going to the New World (The America's). There are old world powers fighting for resources and influence in and on the New World Our MC is both a Knight and Wizard and as of chapter 582 only has one love interest who became his wife. While there is some territory management, it is only a small component and is only a means to the end. This is an adventurer novel; and while decent, it is not a Kingdom Building novel
Good story. The kingdom building starts at the new world arc after the MC conferred Viscounty maybe 1-4 chapter every end of the adventure.
