  1. It doesn’t stop everyone want to go back to china one of the characters was African who got his migration rejected and the author wrote he will go back to china i dont know if it is a translation problem but seeing china every 5 sentences is not fun

  2. The main character is pushover and he like it too after he get betrayed he just became friends with the one who betrayed him ? The agent is stupid and every time cause trouble and every time mc forgive him i mean i get it you won’t find work if you have a fight with everyone who screw you over but in real life you will be smiling and shake hands if other people in the room but you will never be friends in private

  3. CURRENT CHAPTER: 630 HAREM OR ROMANCE: The protagonist named Ronald at first you will find that he is a very conservative boy, so much so that the woman he is with feels that he wants to marry her hahaha, but then Ronald realizes that he is too serious in relationships and realizes which should be more casual and still acknowledging that he is young and IN HOLLYWOOD. Let's not be hypocritical to say that the entertainment industry is holy and that we should believe in love because there we can still find a partner with pure feelings, if you want to survive in Hollywood with those thoughts then you would have died long ago. Love in Hollywood is almost impossible as there are too many temptations and the chaos there is unimaginable for the protagonist. He discovers this little by little and realizes that he must enjoy the present. I'm not a die-hard harem fan, but it's justifiable when you read it and realize the environment it's in. In my opinion, a NORMAL man could not resist such temptations. -Spoiler the following-: He gets to be with some women at the same time (Helen Slater, Brooky Shields, Diane Lane...) and enjoys his job, which is being a director. In conclusion: At first the story is romance because he only thinks about having a girlfriend, getting married and having children, but then he realizes that if he wants to be in this circle, he must make sacrifices and enjoy the temptations. CHINESE: The good thing about the story is that it doesn't focus much on this. There are some parts where China and its culture are mentioned, but it is little and also the protagonist is not talking about how magnificent and powerful his country is. Compared to other novels it is passable in this regard. ABILITY: Ronal has the ability to dream up movie stories in his mind. Unlike other Hollywood novels, he cannot control his memory at will. His dreams are presented on occasions where there is the possibility of directing that film, then he performs the script in the best way. That is his ability. It's not op so I like it. ARTISTIC OR COMMERCIAL FILMS: At first you may feel that he wants to make artistic films, but as the chapters go by he realizes that he does not have that ability, that is, he was not reborn as a director, it is not that in his mind he has all the knowledge of a director, producer and screenwriter, NO. As he had said this is a story of growth, he does not have the talent and knowledge to make artistic works like Coppola or Kubrick. He also realizes that arthouse movies can get you a good review, but not necessarily a good box office. And if he wants to get ahead obviously he won't be so stupid to do artistic works. First start with low budget movies and go up little by little, and create those that you dream and give a lot of money, it is a CAPITALIST country. Who cares if your movie is artistic or has good reviews? What matters is that it generates MONEY. FAMILY: This part is what makes me a little angry. It would have been better if the protagonist had no family that didn't interfere much in his life, but the author placed an aunt who interferes in the protagonist's thinking and decisions. The good thing is that it's not much, at first he was more obedient, but as time goes by he just nods to his aunt and does what he thinks. In addition, there are a few chapters where the protagonist wants to know his background and that for me is unnecessary. CONCLUSION: I wouldn't say it's perfect or excellent because there are things I don't like and I think it can be ignored, but it's passable. I recommend that you give it a try if after reading the above you are interested. I would give it 3.6 stars.

  4. 200 chapters in and the MC still haven't exploited anything. He have no memories of what would happen nor know what stocks would be big. All I can see is the MC being a busybody and gets so much trouble from it. Basically everybody is an ungrateful cunt and he never really receive anything back. The pacing is excruciatingly slow, the setting started 1978, and I think it's still 1979.
