This novel assumes you're familiar with Eve already. It's also hard to follow either because of the machine translation or it's just boring.
Very good novel, I wish there were more novels like this where Mc creates his interstellar empire. This novel depicts the author's game character. When they kill the MC (he barely lives) there is a massacre. There is no nationalism because the universe where the MC is, the Solar System does not exist. There is no harem, the MC only has a wife, who represents the author's wife in real life.

If you talk about novels that deal with space themes, it would be My Empire, one of the best novels in my opinion, but it was ruined by Chinese nationalism, it deals with the mc having the title baron of a kingdom of cold arms, to create his interstellar empire . But apart from that novel, there are very few with an interstellar theme, because the mc is always in the solar system and can't be independent, you know, because there are mostly magic and swords in the middle ages.

If you didn't play Eve for a hundred hours you won't understand many of spoken mechanics and items. If you played it go back and keep playing because this novel is boring as hell
