I kinda enjoy this. The characters personality are close to their original ones, Xiao Wu is pure and innocent, Ning Rong Rong is mischievious entitled rich girl, Zhuqing is cold beauty... And MC doesn't try to "fix" things, in fact he made Rong Rong worse by actually give a self-entitled rich girl Rong Rong a super boost. But somehow that made her learn how to treat people around her better. I like the plots, the characters development is good and unique, while some characters got the bashes ( like the male members of Shrek - which personality wise aren't that good at the beginning), others got more love ( Ning Rong Rong and her family), and all around hilarious moment with weird tasks. But I do feel that some tasks are very forced, mostly just to pust the ladies with MC. In fact, lots of the main girls starting tasks were just being lovy dovy with MC. All in all, this is a good time killer, not very deep but entertaining enough, 8/10 for entertainment scale, 6/10 for the quality of plots, 9/10 for character development (only for Ning Rong Rong for now), 10/10 uniqueness ( like, we get a lot of "I can fix her" fics, but "let make her worse" like this is the first). Not for fans of Tang San and the male members of Shrek tho, they got bullied a lot.
Just three chapters in and it's already obvious that it's the typical novel where women are saints and men are pieces of garbage. I tried to persevere but the stupidity is just unbearable.
oh, this is sad. i say the first 50, maybe even 60 chapters of this are really good and interesting but you start noticing it gets more watery, more dragged out, and in rapid succession just becomes a boring mess of contrivances. you really hate to see it. i dropped around ch 104 literally tired of reading it; i remember in the OG the incident with ma hongjun at the brothel where he got beat up, till the entire shrek crew came and avenged him, was only about 2 ~ 4 chapters long, yea? in here (for some strange reason) was like 20 chapters long. dragged out so much its literally become "long garbage" i wont leave a rating cuz i feel bad, this really had so much potential. but what should've been a 4* story id have no choice but to give it 1.5* at best. watery grave
Don't be discouraged due to other people comments some will like it and some will not like it but remain to keep your firm heart will and the ratings will increase since this novel is unique in its aspects
I waited at least a week now without any further updates or is it possible the author dropped? I think this novel is good so keep up the hard work and we still love it
