Novel Summary

Little Hamster, “Daddy daddy, I have food! All of it’s yours! Even me!!!”

————

Wu Yi (May 1) was only a little hamster, his nickname was Chou Chou (stinky). He had a very handsome and charismatic owner and he lived every day happily without worries. But then suddenly, one day, a zombie crisis emerged on earth and the world descended into the dangerous Apocalypse Era. However, along with the appearance of zombies, humans and animals alike also welcomed the first wave of ability users.

One the day the little hamster woke up to find that he had become the same type of two-legged creature like his daddy was and his original small two cheeks of food storage had become extremely huge! Towards this, the little hamster was happy enough to roll all over the ground. The first thing he wanted to do was tell his daddy.

After braving endless trials, climbing mountains and conquering seas, the little hamster finally found his daddy under mortal danger. And Nie Xiao was then saved from the jaws of a level three zombie.

“Daddy, this child has finally found you!”

Nie Xiao was completely flabbergasted; “…” What is this? Who’s your daddy???

Everyone from the base started to calculate with their fingers: Holy shit! Sure enough, our Boss’ talent was already abnormal from when he was seven, he even has a child this big!

  3. Hmm... I can't say that I love this, but I don't hate it either. At first, because of the title, I thought it would only be a story about a normal hamster who gained powers because of the extraordinary virus. Who knew that it would actually be different? Now, before I review this novel, I just want to remind everyone that this comment only intends to express my opinion and not to offend the author, reader, or anyone. Everyone is free to hate, like, agree, dislike, whatever to this. Now, let's continue. Plot: 8.9999/10 : maybe it's because I've read a super awesome "end of the world" apocalypse novel, so my standards are quite high, but a novel talking about the "end of the world" can't simply be looked down upon to. They topic itself hold so much potential and I can't say that I'm not disappointed. The novel mostly focuses on the super powers and the nervousness and intense vibe of a zombie apocalypse was almost non-existent. But still, because of the "hidden" interestrial plot, I'll add an additional point. Although the plot is also isn't fully explored. I guess this novel focuses on the relationship between the MC and the ML, but if this was so, there could have been so much better plot to enhance their relationship, especially since the ML is quite underpowered in this one. Also, additional point for the evolutionary trait of the Nemo clan. It's quite unique and interesting and it's the first time I've seen it. I like the concept. Characters: 8.5/10 : The ML's character is a bit too confusing. I don't know if he's supposed to be indifferent and cold it something. He breaks out of character sometimes. Also, I love the side-characters, but I'm quite angry for e lack of "guard". Like, some people aren't too suspicious of some. For example, the people in the roads, like, the wandering survivors are too kind. So far, I've only seen 4 villains. Like, whut. The villain is also quite dissapoting too. As well as the ML. The story is lacking a bit of... Challenge. Theme: 9.5/10 The action genre is a bit... Shadowed, like, the intense "feels" when fighting is a bit too shadowed because of the super powers and so far, the most intense I've felt is the "crossing the sea" scene, as well as the "getting the box under the bridge" scene. As well as some "intense" scene ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ the romance part is also good, especially when there are so many ship. It's just that, the ML and the MC's "dynamics" seems to have a hint of.... Grooming... Which is a bit... I'd say... Doesn't fit the societal standards... But well... When the world is about to end, who cares? Right?.... Tell me I'm right. Also, I love the comedy too. I love how the author showed us the audience's reaction to the couple's dilemma. Like, being the boyfriend in the day and being the daddy at nighty, lmao, that was so funny. Writing: 9/10 : I want much to invested in some scenes. I even skipped some, but only on there latter part. The author sometimes focuses on the non-important things and expands some details to much that I got bored. But it's bearable compared to some sh*t I read, I guess. Also, not much flowery words. Pacing: 8.9999/10 : The pacing is kinda slow in the latter part, and the changing of the "camera angle" is a bit too frequent. I feel like I'm getting interrupted in the middle of the scenes sometimes. But I love how there's isn't much info dump unlike other chapters. Ending: 9/10 : I like the progression on their relationship and how the author made the side characters' relationship vague. They weren't left behind but it is up to us readers to imagine how the shop sailed. If say it's quite good. It's just that the fighting scene was I'd say... I'm sorry but it's say that it was quite boring and... Not too well thought. I thought that it would be solved with the MC and ML's cooperation, but in the end, the MC solver it all. It was quite unsatisfying, anticlimactic, and I'd say, too fantastical. It felt like the author was desperate and didn't have other solutions. In the end, the author simply dumped it to the MC's super strength like: "Everything is okay because I'm strong!" And .. that's all for the review. For the departing words, is say that this novel was a nice eye-opener and is filled with fluff and happiness and doesn't go to the dark-side too much and I'm glad that I read it. I also love the kissing scenes, btw. It was great 👍

  4. I enjoy reading apocalypse novels. I would like to ask what is the name of the super awesome "end of the world" apocalypse novel?

  5. I could have sworn that this used to have a different title before…. (I know I read it a quite a while ago on MTL but it’s no longer in my list) ((I also popped in to read a bit to make sure and confirmed that yes, I’ve finished reading this))
