Novel Summary

What is the bright side?

The boundless shadow void.

Compared with the power of light that represents the order of the universe, the power of shadow that interacts with it will make people involuntarily have negative associations.

The Old Gods, the Lords of the Void, and… the unavoidable loss of control.

Is the power of shadow really difficult to break away from the control of the ancient gods and cannot be truly mastered by mortals?

The traverser Andrea has a different opinion on this.

Accidental crossing, came in Azeroth’s most dangerous period of the ancient war.

Andrea, who was blessed by the moon god Elune, had many questions about this world she thought she was very familiar with.

“Moon God” Elune, is it really just the Moon God?

Since she is not the Titan star soul that people imagined, what kind of existence is Elune?

Why did Tyrande gain the strange power of the so-called dark side of the moon when she sacrificed to Elune in the future?

“When your heart is toward the light, the shadows are silently looking back at you.” ——by Andrea Moon Shadow

  3. It may be because I don't know much about wow but wasn't it completely stupid to make him lose the mc 1000 years of progress for a stupid test? To make the prize at the end even more disappointing. He could have taken control of the main branch of the elves all this time and you're telling me that was the prize? don't **** with that crap give me a real reason, with those 1000 years he could have gone to Malygos and started with the black dragon legion or made progress on almost everything else. for me this is becoming a disappointment like shadow trail was. Nothing can be perfect but that a god has this iq seems incredible to me, didn't he say before that he can see the memories of the mc? So why doesn't he know about the timeline and practically the future of Azeroth. Ultimately it bothers me as there is no good reason for the 1000 lost years.

  4. The reason for the lost years is so that the MC couldn't keep Dath'remar and the Highborne from leaving, thus significantly changing the main timeline. The author does this again with the MC's mission + coma later. Note that as of chapter 530+, the MC has done very little to changes the outcome of major events on Azeroth, with the small exception of Cthuun, who doesn't matter because he's not involved in anything on Azeroth in the original timeline anyways. Loken? Still active after so many years, Xavius? Still. Entire core Dark Portal events? No change. Oh right, he does do Suramar, although Suramar hasn't actually done anything. He finally hops over to Pandaria and starts to do something now? Ok? The MC's 10,000 years are basically spent improving the NE civilization moderately, picking up more allies, but no core plot related to the Burning Legion or "meaningful" plot related to Evil Gods has really changed.

  5. The bad points of this story were something I could ignore for 400-500 chapters, but the build up of minimizing the Mc repeatedly made me give up around 650 chapters.the entire story is just Mc building a country and watching plot points happen then saying he can't interfere in major world events such as the dark Portal because of political reasons.

  6. I just wanted to say that this fic is quite good. The author is the same as "Ranger King of Azeroth" (one of the top-10 WoW fics out there). MC: from what I remember this is a no-system fic. Includes information from BfA and Legion. MC is a druid apprentice, who turned into shadow priest with the help of Xal'atath. The story is quite reasonable and there is a small harem (2 girls). Unfortunately Tyrande and Maiev are not part of the harem. Story: focuses on the world-building and reconnecting Elf Empire after the crash, doesn't suck up to other civilizations (Like the Azeroth's Titan Dawn fic, where dumb MC creates extra enemies for himself for no reason). For example, as a leader of elves, he doesn't let orcs go to Durotar. Some low level political intrigue and kingdom building are also present. This is a good read if you are interested in WoW and want to read something relatively new. This is not "Azeroth's Shadow Trail" quality-wise, but it is pretty close. Overall, I would say this is 8/10 fic (I read plenty WoW fics).

  7. Azeroth's Shadow Trail is pretty much top-3 WoW of all time for me. Highly recommended (the only bad thing are the Calia Menethil parts, but other than that it is solid 9/10). Besides there's plenty Maiev romance there and Maiev = best girl.

  8. i started reading Azeroth's Shadow Trail and i actually liked (mostly) but the romance with maev is really REALLY BAD. nearly dropped because of that...

  9. Please can you give me the link to the Ranger King of Azeroth novel you mentioned? (I haven't read it and it doesn't appear in the search engine, but it caught my attention XD)

  10. hey, im also intrested on which sites are you reading wow fan-fics, i already read few but wanna look if i find any that i didnt read until now, please?

  11. Does anyone know what the novel of a system that is broken is called and the same receiver says what mission he wants to do and the system rewards him
