Everything is so chaotic in this novel; Story, plot, consistency, everything. What kind of military school send newly recruited students to fight off armed bandits and outlaws without no prior military training, without detail investigation on the enemy and some instructors to ensure their safety. The students got team wiped, all killed. I'd say totally worth it.
Man.. reading that arc feels like - u go to military school, on the first day u are told to capture a Taliban base camp with other rookies like u, on the way there the instructors teach u about the operation and usage of firearms on zoom, u arrive there, the higher ups are watching ur performance at the command center with the expectation that u would successfully capture the enemy base camp without any reinforcement. As a result, u all died.
