The world in the story is going through a slow apocalypse rather than the more commmon instant catastrophe type. The author does a good job of creating a world where daily life still sort-of goes on, but everything is slowly fraying at the edges. I appreciate the fact that the MC isn't stereotypically beautiful, and there ended up being a plot-relevant reason for that early on. The first 30-40 or so chapters might not be a cakewalk to read, seeing how many people around the MC insults or underappreciate her because of her weight. Thankfully, she finds a band of loyal friends not long after. I appreciate how gritty the story is without it falling outright into tragedy-porn a la Game of Thrones. I especially appreciate how tenacious the main group of friends is, even if they're not the clichéd hypercompetent characters either. Definitely worth 5/5

Great. How do you put the fire out? ‘Water’ ability? Where does the water come out? The author has a seriously twisted mind.
