It’s quite good as compared to other books in this genre. Unfortunately the story ends here on this website and it seems to not be complete. There’s no resolution for a lot of loose ends. For example, it would be nice to know what happens between the female lead and the potential conflict with the leading Chinese medicine practitioners in the imperial capital. It would also be nice to find out what happens between the female twin offspring of the female lead and her husband from her previous life who’s introduced in the reincarnated life as a child of a fellow soldier. I’d also like to find out whether the female lead ends up with a baby brother or a sister. And also what actually happens with her mother-in-law following the bone marrow screening. Does the female lead graduate from college? So many loose strings. I’m not sure if the writer got tired of writing or if the translator got tired of translating. Either way the ending is like an afterthought. The sections I read were good enough to keep me engaged, but unfortunately, the story is not complete. Yes there are a lot of morally questionable sections such as what happened to two of the male side characters in jail however, it seemed to be in line with the violence that the female lead endured and suffered in her previous life I would definitely not read the story again.
Both the fl and ml are reborn, they decide to clear past problems decided to trust each other again and this lead to a bright future Ml is in military and fl is a doctor (i personally like these type of duo of doc x soldier) . The fl who suffered a lot in the past deals with her enemies in the exact way they treated, it was a bit ruthless but it's justified, i think it felt a bit weird cuz there are not much fls who will take such revenges.
Some spoilers-ish in the comment just fyi: Ok guys, I have a dilemma here. I’m all for these getting revenge plots but I just passed the first major revenge/consequences for actions against fl and (spoiler) guys getting r*ped in prison is a little too heavy for me. But from the backstory she obviously suffered a similar fate and while she was innocent they definitely weren’t so… was the punishment justified? Idk how to feel about this.
Just remembered it was actually the second major revenge. First person got trafficked and that also was a hmm. Tbf though the person trafficked was planning to do it to fl first. So again… was the punishment justified?
It was hard to bear, i agree.... Not used to good guys in novels doing such bad things without a remorse. Still, it was deserved and even more.
I don't have the right to say justified as we're not a judge but they got what they deserve. They wouldn't have gotten such ending if it weren't for their own wrong doings.
